Letters from Santa: Have Santa send a personalized letter for that someone special in your life. Letters are $5 each and the money goes to fund the WinterFest in downtown Burien. (We will be posting the form on our Discover Burien website shortly)


Coupons: We will be producing a coupon sheet for members to participate in that will be handed out at the WinterFest. Coupon size will be 2" x 3".  Please e-mail Debra George (debrageorgemi@aol.com) the information you would like on this and your logo. This is a great FREE way to promote your business for the holidays. 

 

Music: Our friends at the Burien/White Center Rotary are putting on a Holiday Concert to benefit the White Center and Highline Food Banks.  The Boeing Choir Concert will perform and admission is free with a canned food donation to the food banks.  The concert is Friday December 3rd, 7:30pm at Highline PAC.

According to the site, the only safe way to thaw a frozen turkey is to place it in the refrigerator.  Other methods such as running cold water over it or placing it in the microwave oven are not safe because of the chance of bacterial growth and contamination.

The 10-second spots are on-air live reads during the drive times traffic spots on 5 different FM radio stations, KMCS, KJAQ, KMPS, KPLZ and KQMV.
