Burien Wellness Fair
Burien Wellness is sponsoring a community health fair on Saturday, September 11, 2010, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Medical service providers and other health and wellness
organizations will be on hand to showcase how they contribute to Burien's being a wellness center. Medical screenings, healthy cooking demonstrations, and an on-site
blood drive are part of this year's activities.
Shoreline Master Program Update
The City is in the process of updating its Shoreline Master Program. The Planning Commission currently is formulating a recommendation to the City Council on the
draft program after receiving public testimony at a hearing on January 12th. Additional public hearings will be conducted by the City Council and the
state Department of Ecology.

Burien Farmers Market
Thursdays, May 6th to October 14th
Burien Farmers' Market - every Thursday from the beginning of May through mid-October. The Farmers' Market has developed into a very successful market
with 40 to 50 vendors each week. Vendors include a food booth, handmade goods, farm fresh produce and fresh baked products.
Fall Art Walk
Saturday, September 18 - 5 pm to 9 pm
At SW 152nd Street in Downtown Burien. As many as 40 local businesses are invited to "host" an artist during this event by displaying and allowing the sale of the artists' works.
Octoberfest
Saturday Sept. 25 - 10 am to 10 pm, and Sunday Sept. 26 - 10 am to 5 pm
